Technology Moves Consulting specialises in providing IT based consulting
and project management services relating to the built environment. We help to manage the relationship
between client's IT teams and Facilities teams, ensuring that projects are fully coordinated
at all stages.

Project Types
IT Fit Outs - Our typical consulting project involves the IT fit out of new space. We work with the IT
team to understand the requirements in terms of server room rack space, audio visual solutions, cabling
specification and mechanical & electrical services. We then produce detailed designs in all areas, coordinating
these designs with the architect and M&E consultancy at each stage.
IT Relocations - Where a client is relocating IT hardware between buildings, we provide project management
services to mitigate the risks associated with the move. We tender the relocation contractor package
and provide a hands-on project team to ensure that each phase of the relocation is carefully planned and
monitored.
Facilities Systems Consulting - We work with Facilities teams to manage their IT systems. Examples of systems
we help to manage are CAFM and security systems. Typically, the systems require upgrade or reconfiguration
and we manage projects in a controlled environment to ensure minimum impact to customers.
IT Change Management - We have significant experience of how new IT systems can impact customers as well as
those people managing the new applications on a daily basis. We work with clients to design and implement new operating
models, to explain the new solutions in a clear way and to close out any IT related issues that they are experiencing.
Example Projects
We have recently worked on the following projects (references available on request):
- Fit out of 135,000 square feet of office space for corporate client, including construction
of seven IT equipment rooms including a server room containing 60 IT equipment cabinets.
- Relocation of 300 servers from two existing server rooms to one central server room. Relocation
was managed over three separate weekends.
- Feasibility study on behalf of developer who needed to relocate a tenant’s server room to
facilitate the demolition of a building.
- Fit out of listed building in Mayfair, London, including the installation of eight high
specification audio visual suites.
